This month has all: Medieval role-playing, famous plan, unforgiving monster-hunting motion, and a one-eyed gang who lost his memory and thinks he’s a rogue. &nbsp,

Seriously—there’s things for just about any type of player here, from humor to dream, and strategy to action. Last year was an outstanding one for game, and it already seems like 2025 does hit the same levels.

What are our beloved features from the quarter? And beyond these, a few honorable mentions fair watching include Ninja Five-O, Rift of the Necrodancer, and Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered.

Kingdom Travel: Deliverance II

Release Date: February 4
Platforms: Computers, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S

The semi-historical RPG returns with a sequel, Kingdom Travel: Deliverance II. This game picks up where the first left off, with an extensive cut-scene summing up the first game’s events for newcomers.

Two brand-new drawings, each about the same length as the first one, are available for exploration in the game. The large city of Kuttenberg, which sports a scale and complexity that far outweigh the initial match, is one of its highlights. Yet it still apparently performs much better than the initial does even now. &nbsp,

The group has simplified combat, and guns are now accessible when you need to cut an enemy right away. Don’t believe enemies to graciously wait while you reload, though. Ultimately, this is a massive growth on the unique in every way that counts.

Sid Meier’s Society Vi

Release Date: February 11
Systems: Nintendo Switch, Computers, PS5/PS4, Xbox Series X/S + One

Sid Meier’s Society was released on Laptop in 1991. Over 30 years later, the series is still trucking along as one of the best games in the 4X ( explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate ) genre of games.

Society VII is then split into three years: Antiquity, Exploration, and Modern. You’ll keep your chosen chief with each new age but choose a new society to advance.

Officials are no longer related to empires; each era ends with a crisis that may affect your future behavior. If this CV is anything like the previous ones, you’ll find yourself repeating” One more turn” until it’s too late the following day.

Avowed

Release Date: February 18
Platforms: Computers, Xbox Series X/S

Avowed is the latest match from Obsidian, the creator behind activities like Fallout New Vegas, Pillars of Eternity, and Grounded. &nbsp,

You are tasked with disseminating rumors of a disease in the Living Lands in a world similar to Columns of Eternity (you don’t need to enjoy it to love this ). &nbsp,

In this first-person RPG, you may personalize your character with secret, swords, and weapons to execute your method as you discover the world around you. &nbsp,

Rather than going for a large open-world game, though, Obsidian has focused on creating smaller, richer places filled with adventures and characters to learn and join.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii

Skull &amp, Bones, eat your heart out. &nbsp, In between entries in the Like a Dragon series (aka Yakuza ), Sega’s RGG Studio is eating your lunch.

He gets caught up in a conflict and has to assemble his own pirate crew for ship-to-ship and man-to-man combat. You know, that old tale.

Monster Hunter Wilds

Release Date: February 28
Platforms: Computers, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S

This one has been a while in our minds. &nbsp,

Monster Hunter World, which was released in 2018, transformed Capcom’s storied Monster Hunter franchise from a niche phenomenon for hardcore nerds into a massive hit. &nbsp,

This entry not only features a brand-new campaign and better graphics, but it also includes a number of brand-new features that give you new ways to hunt your prey. &nbsp,

When you suddenly find yourself battling a flying beast, you can switch from an unwieldy greatsword to a bow and arrow on your mount for the first time. &nbsp,

Armor is no longer gender-locked, too, so you can look exactly how you want to look. There are also new gameplay changes, like a “focus mode” to zero in on weak points, and quality-of-life changes to things like the broken monster part collection. &nbsp,

And that’s just what they’ve told us so far.
