Ubisoft, the enormous game company behind the Assassin’s Creed and Really Dance franchises, may drop a new set of avatars this week for Ethereum multiverse game The Sandbox—and this time around, they’re even based on a Web3-native game.

For The Sandbox, NFTs based on Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles, an initial bitcoin game released by Ubisoft next fall, will be available as NFTs on the Ethereum scaling system Square.

The Champions Tactics NFT avatars will be released on Wednesday, January 29, with the avatars selling for 170 SAND ($ 88 ) to people on the allowlist, or 180 SAND ($ 93 ) in the public sale for any remaining assets.

Buyers will also get three champions characters to use in Champions Tactics, the turn-based PC plan activity, as well as an image that will work in The Sandbox, a metaverse sport with various brand and celebrity partners, including Snoop Dogg, The Smurfs, and many others.

Ubisoft formerly brought its Rabbids creatures—from the long-running Rayman brand—to The Sandbox, and followed that up with figures from the Netflix animated line” Captain Laserhawk: A Heart Dragon Remix”, which is inspired by a sport in the Far Cry company.

Captain Laserhawk: The G. A. M. E., a cryptocurrency game that was eventually tapped for the Netflix series, was released in December with NFT entry passes minted on the Ethereum scaling system Arbitrum.

Ubisoft is the biggest Web2 entertainment giant playing in the Web3 globe, not only through games like Champions Tactics and Captain Laserhawk, but even collaborations like The Sandbox, investments, and moves to coach and assist startups.
