Ethereum Gaming Networks May Be Combined With One Using Immutable Will.

Ethereum’s game software Immutable announced plans this week to combine its networks by combining its first network, the Immutable X, with its more recent Immutable zkEVM layer-2 blockchain.

The consolidation, which is anticipated in late 2025, aims to bring the company’s gambling ecosystem together following significant growth in its zkEVM system, which has handled nearly 150 million transactions since it launched in early 2024.

By combining hundreds of millions of dollars worth of assets from hundreds of different games into one consolidated ring, the company said in a post.

The transition may be generally programmed for customers. Users of another wallets like MetaMask will receive assets that are immediately transferred to their main wallet, while users of the Eternal Passport wallet will receive them instantly on Immutable zkEVM. Users who don’t like their assets to be relocated quickly are offered an opt-out option from the company.

Game designers have to make more drastic changes. Builders will have to reimplement some of the existing Immutable X APIs because they are currently deprecated. Although property contracts will be immediately implemented with the same ownership framework, collection addresses may change, and the company will offer an API to map these changes.

Guild of Guardians, a match that Immutable has published, has already completed for a movement, with the studio stating that it’s one of many games that “pioneered this upgrade.”

Another well-known Eternal activities include Treeverse, Illuvium, RavenQuest, Space Nation Online, Immortal Rising 2, and Gods Unchained.

According to CoinGecko, Immutable’s IMX coin is currently trading for$ 0.393, making it the 99th most important crypto by business cap by market cap. It quickly dropped out of the leading 100 earlier this month, leaving it without a second gaming token per the price resource, despite the fact that it had previously surpassed it.
