Bitcoin is again over again and touched its lowest level in days on Thursday morning as investors cashed out of the blockchain ETFs after hitting a fresh all-time high last month.
CoinGecko data shows that the biggest cryptocurrency dropped below$ 92, 000 per coin at 9am ET, hitting a 2025 low of$ 91, 925. It’s now up and is trading for about$ 93, 700. However, over a seven-day interval, the property is down by 3.5 %.
Investors are repurchasing American Bitcoin ETFs, which were approved a year ago and business on stock exchanges, and this significant pullback is likely to put downward pressure on the price of the asset itself.
On Wednesday, a total of$ 568.8 million left the funds—the most in one trading day since December 19.
The Federal Reserve made the remarks after its hours from its December meeting, which suggested that interest rates may remain great and that inflation may be stickingier than expected under coming President Donald Trump.
In a low interest rate environment, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have mostly benefited from the announcement that the Federal Reserve will lower borrowing fees.
Ethereum, also, is dropping in cost: the second-biggest bitcoin was at one point investing for$ 3, 216 on Thursday, also marking ETH’s lowest rate registered so far in 2025. It’s now priced at$ 3, 275 after recovering. Over 24 hours, it’s actually up by 1.5 % as of this writing—thanks to its jump back up—but over the week, it’s down by more than 5 %.
Buyers even pulled$ 159 million out of the Ethereum ETFs on Wednesday. That’s the largest amount in a single moment since July, the quarter that the money began trading, according to Farside files.
The popularity of the Ethereum ETFs has certainly increased as much as that of their Cryptocurrency counterparts, and the gold hasn’t reached new highs like the oldest crypto has. As of this writing, Ethereum remains virtually 33 % off its maximum price of$ 4, 878 set up in 2021.
Cryptocurrency in December hit a new all-time deep of over$ 108, 000. It’s now almost 13 % lower than that amount.
