Now, xAI released Grok Studio, giving consumers a canvas-style software for creating applications, writing documents, and creating browser games. In the competitive AI production market, Elon Musk’s Artificial business squares off against ChatGPT Canvas from OpenAI and Claude Artifacts from Anthropic.

Consumers and the AI can collaborate in real-time on split-screen in Grok Studio, which makes it possible to work on several creative projects at once. The program has the ability to preview HTML fragments and supports multiple programming languages, including Python, JavaScript, and C++.

Beyond just coding, Grok now has a “preview” page to give users a peek at what their HTML excerpts, coding languages, and mock scripts produce. Whatever happens inside the local Grok software.

” Grok now has the ability to create documents, codes, reports, and computer games. Grok Studio may start your information in a split screen, allowing you and Grok to work together on it, xAI said in a post announcing the new element.

The new characteristic, which we tested, appears properly implemented, giving the code more awareness than the explanation of what’s happening—unlike Claude, for instance, which splits the screen in half.

Users can view the final product created after all their interactions by clicking the Preview box next to the password image.

The announcement comes two weeks after xAI released Grok 3, continuing the company’s rapid development of AI skills since 2024. Both free and paid users can access Gruk Studio.

Customers can now put documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks immediately to prompts, which is another new feature that xAI announced. Google first introduced this feature in Gemini, and afterward OpenAI followed suit and adopted it from Anthropic.

Related to ChatGPT’s UI, the fresh element is located in the prompt text box. The model is capable of comprehending text in visual inputs like charts and photos, and it is also, by extension, capable of comprehending text in documents in various formats, including native Google Docs like .txt ,.doc, and .rft.

Musk’s stated goals for xAI are in line with Grok Studio’s support for computer game development. Musk announced plans to create an AI game studio in February, and this innovative feature suggests that the company may already be moving in that direction by enabling creative development, or perhaps cooperative vibe coding.

Every major player is now offering features that enhance the appeal of their models, which is a sign that the competitive AI productivity landscape is evolving quickly. Google added its Veo2 picture machine to Gemini, and OpenAI released the O3 and O4-mini, its most potent logic models, while Google also announced web research and study capabilities, along with Gmail and calendar integration, just this week.
