Following a public fallout between its core teams, Blade of God X ( BoGX ), a blockchain-powered action RPG that raised millions from leading crypto investors, was under scrutiny.
Former BoGX CMO Amber Bella accused the Web2 development team of incompetence, reward deception, and shutting down the Web3 group that had first supported the project in a series of tweets on X, previously Online.
She wrote, stating that she never handled BoGX money herself,” I must now confront the painful fact: this task has failed to deliver on the claims to the community.” She rather defended leader Tnise Liu Yang’s “experience and personality as a 10-year businessperson.”
Bella claimed that tensions started in October 2024 when BoGX’s Ephemeral NFT Collection, which had exclusive holding rights and game benefits, was released.
BoGX: A Statement

The NFTs gave players the ability to “min” in-game AI agents and join in key technology.
Bella asserts that the Web2 development group was updating blog features minutes before the basil, which caused a two-hour site outage that prevented the launch.
Decrypt’s ask for more opinion has not been responded to by Amber Bella.
Bella claimed the development group rejected NFT resources and community proposals despite being largely funded by Web3 contributions.
Her team discovered inside creator records competing on open leaderboards and winning real-money awards intended for players during the next check phase of the game.
The ex-CMO claimed that the group first kept mum when confronted, but only when we presented evidence that the transactions were linked to their own cards did they ultimately replace these transactions.
BoGX was promoted as a hybrid action RPG that combines blockchain mechanics with advanced AI, and was supported by some of the biggest names in the crypto investment industry ( OK X Ventures, Delphi Ventures, BreederDAO, Eden Holdings, among others ).
The project was recognized as a pioneering example of “play-to-train” innovation in Web3 gaming after raising$ 6 million in funding in May.
Bella claimed that BoGX’s founder sidelined Web3 completely, leading to “delayed payments turning into no payments” and putting a financial strain on professionals who spent months working on the project.
After attempting to come up with a structured solution that included NFT refunds and financial transparency, Bella claimed she had been blocked and removed from all internal systems.
Based on a snapshot of NFT holders ‘ end-of-March snapshot, the ex-CMO announced that she would use her personal 24.2 ETH to distribute partial compensation via” ARB transfers” to address the situation.
The Epic Games Store continues to offer early access to Blade of God X.
The game incorporates” Souls-like” combat mechanics with dark Nordic themes, and it supports optional blockchain features through Immutable X and Ethereum Virtual Machine chains.
Players can link wallets like MetaMask and Coinbase Wallet, train AI companions, and collect NFT-based” Soul Cards.”
Tnise Liu Yang and Void Labs have not yet made any public comments on the allegations.
Bella addressed Liu Yang directly to say,” You’ve abandoned the project without explanation or basic settlement… The Web3 community deserves better than promises that vanish once funding is secured,” in a direct message.
