Elon Musk offered reward for Canada’s Bitcoin-friendly opposition leader Pierre Poilievre earlier Tuesday, following weeks of the software giant attacking Western officials. &nbsp,

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO explained in a widely shared video of Poilievre explaining how the best way to combat inflation is to reduce government spending, one of Musk’s own favorite projects, on his X social media platform ( previously Twitter ).

After Justin Trudeau announced his resignation programs, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is running for excellent minister. According to surveys, American citizens are especially concerned about the cost of living there. &nbsp,

” Completely articulated”, Musk wrote on the program he owns.

Poilievre has been a pro-Bitcoin for decades, making appearances on apps about bitcoin and calling for Canada to be the “blockchain capital of the world.”

Again in 2022, the Conservative lawmaker said that” Indians should have the flexibility to use other income, such as Bitcoin”, because the authorities was “ruining” the American dollar. &nbsp,

Trudeau at the time slammed the post as “reckless”. The recent Canadian Prime Minister stated on Monday that he would step down if a replacement was chosen.

Following the approaching elections, crypto punters believe that Poilievre will be the front-runner to be elected as Canada’s prime minister. On prediction market Polymarket, he’s given an 89 % chance of winning the part, well ahead of runner-up Chrystia Freeland.

Musk’s visible support of Poilievre may be related to banker’s personal cost-cutting ambitions: Musk may play a big part in Donald Trump’s Republican leadership by running a state department dubbed the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE. It does work to save money. &nbsp,

The concept has sparked joy among Dogecoin traders, who think it demonstrates Musk’s like for bitcoin. Musk has consistently tweeted about Dogecoin—which deals with the homepage DOGE—in the history, leading to big jumps in its value.

Garry Tan, a venture capitalist and Y Combinator CEO, claimed in a comment on the same picture of Poilievre on Tuesday that Dogecoin may increase in price if Musk’s cost-cutting strategy is implemented. &nbsp,

Musk responded to Tan, saying,” If dollar inflation is solved, the cost in dollars to buy bitcoin will truly drop, other things being equal.”

But despite the Dog talk, Musk last month admitted that he isn’t “actively involved” in cryptocurrency—and really likes jokes. &nbsp,

Musk past week consistently attacked British Prime Minister Keir Starmer—and another politicians—claiming they didn’t do enough to assist victims of a cleaning crew scandal. Since then, German politicians have expressed concern over the obnoxious investor’s incessant controversies. &nbsp,
