Original Pudgy Penguins Artist Finds &#039, Freedom&#039, With New Berachain NFT Collection

According to creative differences with authority, Antoine Mingo left his position as concept artist for the well-known Ethereum NFT selection Pudgy Penguins in early 2023. Today, he’s leading the skill for a new NFT venture called Burrrs on buzzy layer-1 system Berachain, giving him the artistic flexibility he’s craved since entering the market.

The Washington-based artist said he’s enjoyed his initial Pudgy Penguins success so far, but that he’s frustrated by the lack of creative freedom he’s been given.

He is also looking forward to founding the upcoming Burrrs NFT collection, which will be available on Friday via Magic Eden for$ 4.25 each ($ 34). Mingo finally feels at ease putting his name on the artwork, despite previously wanting to remain in the shadows and having a much more direct role in the creative vision.

” Things don’t have to be picture-perfect. You can create a story and just kind of roll with the punches”, Mingo explained. ” Pudgy is almost like a chameleon that just keeps changing, it just keeps rolling. It’s crazy, and I’m just learning from it”.
