In a nutshell
- Semler Scientific purchased another$ 15.7 million in Bitcoin.
- The medical-tech company currently holds 3, 467 Bitcoins for more than$ 327 million.
- The agency’s Bitcoin government places it within the top ten largest of public companies.
Semler Scientific, a manufacturer of medical devices, increased its Cryptocurrency government to 3,467 BTC with the purchase of an additional 165 Bitcoin for$ 15.7 million between April 25 and September.  ,
Following the announcement that 111 BTC would be acquired for$ 10 million on April 25, the company recently completed its second significant Cryptocurrency consolidation. Semler’s Bitcoin government is valued at more than$ 327 million as of Wednesday.
Semler Scientific Chairman Eric Semler posted on X ( previously known as Twitter ) that read,” We bleed orange,” just days after warning stockholders they could” stop or sell if you don’t like what we’ve done with Bitcoin.”
Semler’s strategies for working with the biggest crypto don’t seem to be coming at a loss. The company recently filed to use a portion of the funds to buy Bitcoin and raise up to$ 500 million through a new securities offering.  ,
Following the playbook created by Strategy ( formerly MicroStrategy ) and its Chairman and major Bitcoin proponent, Michael Saylor, the company has been aggressively purchasing Bitcoin since last year. Semler’s most recent order, in addition to the company’s “impressive” Wallet yield of 23.8 % year-to-date, was addressed by him.  ,
Impressive BTC supply of 23.8 % YTD. Congratulations.
— Michael Saylor ( @saylor ) April 30, 2025
The ratio of a bank’s Bitcoin holdings to its expected shares excellent is known as BTC yield, a term used by Saylor and Strategy. In contrast, Strategy, the largest publicly traded holder of Bitcoin and the one with more than 2.5 % of the total supply, only has a yield of 13.7 % BTC year-to-date.  ,
The two most recent Semler payments come after another significant ones from the formally traded med-tech business, including one worth$ 88.5 million in February.
The agency’s Bitcoin government, which has 3, 467 BTC, is just outside the top 10 among publicly traded companies in terms of liquidity.  ,
Semler Scientific securities, which trade on the Nasdaq under the name SMLR, are currently down 4.83 %. As of the close of business, the company’s shares were trading at$ 32.33 at the time of market close, down more than 40 % year over year.
