Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd. is now getting closer to listing on the Nasdaq change after more than three times. A investor voting is currently a while in May.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission issued a green light on Monday afternoon to transform Galaxy’s membership from the Cayman Islands to Delaware.
Galaxy Digital second disclosed its intention to record on Nasdaq in January 2022, giving the SEC the go-ahead as one of the final few steps needed before the company is approved for a list under the ticker “GLXY.”
According to CEO Mike Novogratz,” We’re on track to record on Nasdaq soon after our investor vote on May 9,” according to CEO Mike Novogratz. ” Come go”!
The SEC’s database-based Galaxy’s subscription statement describes how the blockchain and artificial intelligence infrastructure company intends to relocate and change operations to a new Delaware-based company, a structure typical for American businesses.
The proposed change removes the current regulations on U.S. owners ‘ voting rights. Novogratz will continue to hold power with nearly 60 % of the vote cast.
Cosmos is now listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. It intends to beg owners to approve a business restructuring that it claims will “provide legal, administrative, and other similar efficiency” privately.
Galaxy claimed that Delaware is the” choice of home for several publicly traded corporations” and that moving its registration there would “provide a beneficial corporate environment.”
All issued and excellent Class A regular stocks will be converted one-for-one into Class A common property “without forgiveness or cancellation,” according to the control round in the papers.
According to the papers, Galaxy will continue listing on both Nasdaq and the Toronto Stock Exchange for a confined and transitory phase following the reform while meeting all Nasdaq list needs.
Following investor approval following the May 9 vote, the company anticipates the transition to be finished by mid-May.
